Great professional, scored some fantastically important goals for us under extreme pressure and was well worth the investment we made in him. The fact of the matter is however, he is never going to get a regular starting place with us. We need a better option off the bench and he needs regular football. Sentiment aside, this is the correct decision for all concerned. Regardless of whether or not he goes we still need to invest in another striker (as ridiculous as it sounds), it just makes it all the more pivotal if he does leave.

We're working on fine margins of improvement on replacing last years fringe players. We got an expensive Schluppgrade in The Moose and spent a billion pounds or something on Slim to replace Leo. Perhaps our next move will be to look for someone better than the first team.
