Standing, rather than sat. I hope.

I want it to work, too. The more full-on the better.

Contradiction in terms there Dour as if everybody stands they will scrap the idea before it even starts. Standing is one of the major concerns of the club on this idea as they can get fined if it happens every game.

Well, if they can't stand in N block, my lot will stay where they are because they can stand there!

I used to sit in N Block, I have never seen so many wankers in my life.

They used to climb over me and my wife just to call an away fan a wanker and tell him they wer gonna have him outside. I did have lots of fun tripping the feckers up on the the way back to their seats though.

They used to shout things like "Come on then you feckers, come and do me now if you think you're hard enough". Bearing in mind there were 20 seats between them and the away fans and two rows of police. This would be followed up with "See, you fecking poofter, I knew you wouldn't"

Most of them hadnee got a scooby who most of the players were.

And now they will all be having a nice sing song, with a nice big drum banging in the background

It's loverly

They might stand, but they are not supposed to be (I sound like a right fecking laugh don't I!!) I do not agree with the 'rules' but the club have had several warnings about L1 standing all game and if the same happens in N block it will not last very long. If I remember rightly I think it had been suggested L1 could be closed whilst crowds were low because of this problem, but that is going back a while and nothing has happened.

The club have said that we are aloud to stand as long as Some sitting takes place. I will be standing and I suppose if everyone in the area want's to stand that's half the problem gone. Peter Jones said that we will have to go to a meeting soon with the head of H&S, so we'll see.
The stewards in the area will be briefed and will be relaxed.

To answer lako's question - You can go to the ticket office, mention the singing area and they will know what you mean and you will be able to purchase tickets for N block. The reason I suggested PM me was so that you would be guranteed a ticket in the area and at the heart of the singing.

Epecting something on lcfc.com today. :icon_wink

The club also said that they are willing to listen to supporters suggestions on how they can improve. All we did was rite a convincing email and then met up with the executives at a meeting and they passed our idea, so it shows they do want to improve matchday's and espcially the atmosphere for all of us.

Fair do. At least you've had a go rather than sit moaning. I hope it succeeds, though I fear the idiot faction may well wreck it.

We spoke to the club about the idiot factor and they said they have a fair idea of those who cause trouble in Block L and they won't let them move seats.
If people do try to start trouble we will condone it as a group. I think if we work with the club and stewards this could work well.

I have also just read the whole Ultra's thread and I think most question's have been answered in here now :icon_wink :icon_bigg

BlockN, I am not knocking your idea as I hope it works, but I think you are taking the standing issue quite lightly, it is not the fact that if all of you stand it does not become an issue due to people being able to see, it is more to do with the rules that are set for all grounds, the club have asked for some sitting for reason, if you stand for the whole game the club might be forced to stop the idea due to the points I have mentioned earlier in the thread.

Club To Trial New Singing Section

Leicester City have agreed to trial a new 'Singing Section' at their upcoming home league game against local rivals Coventry City.

The club were originally approached by a group of supporters who were keen to improve the matchday atmosphere inside the Walkers Stadium.

And following a consultation process the idea was given the green light - and will be tried out for the first time when the Sky Blues are the visitors on Saturday, February 17.

N Block, which is situated in the Marks Electrical Stand (North Stand), has been identified as the area of the stadium open for City fans to create additional atmosphere to support the players.

A drum, which has been kindly provided by local Leicestershire company Premier Percussion, will also be given to the supporters to help their efforts in raising the noise levels. Fans are also being encouraged to bring back the City flags that were distributed at the start of the season to add colour.

Match tickets will be available for purchase in this area until close of business on Friday February 16. Season ticket holders who wish to relocate to this area will be able to do so, providing they contact the Ticket Office before the February 16 deadline.

A City Spokesman said: "There is a willingness from the Club to trial something new in a bid to help improve the atmosphere at the Walkers Stadium.

"We were approached by a small group of supporters who wanted to make a difference and we were impressed by their attitudes towards a 'Singing Section'. We have therefore agreed to trial the concept for our next home game.

"If the trial proves to be successful, we will be happy to extend the idea for further games this season and then potentially into next season.

"Since the move to the Walkers Stadium, we have experienced similar problems to a number of other clubs who have moved into a new ground. Some fans have complained that the atmosphere is not as good as at the old stadium.

"With the Kop and parts of the Alliance & Leicester Stand already reasonably established, the aim is to help develop an atmosphere across other areas as well. The Coventry game an important fixture for us, especially with it being a local derby as well, and if the fans can create a real atmosphere across the whole stadium then this can only help the team."

City fan Jamie Treadwell, who along with a group of friends contacted the Club regarding the Singing Section concept, is delighted to have received the Club's approval for a trial.

He added: "Its great news to be able to trial the idea at the Coventry game. A number of us wanted to do something different to try and improve the atmosphere and we are grateful to the Club for listening to us. It's down to us now to create the sort of atmosphere we all want at the Walkers Stadium."

City fans wishing to sit in the Singing Section for the Coventry game are reminded that ticket sales will not be available on the day of the game - so purchases or relocations must be organized with the Ticket Office by Friday, February 16 at the latest.

WEll I have a meeting with The H&S geezer. SO I'll see what he says.

Just to add the Drum MIGHT be used. Not defo.

They missed something out:

"But if the feckers stand up they're out the door"

I am bringing a flare to the game then against CovSkum and a big massive flag saying 'Sort It Out You Wankers' or '16 points is a fecking joke'

See if I get stopped.
