Watching SSN this morning. They had Paul Merson on as a 'knowledgeable' pundit. he was asked what in his opinion was the shrewdest bit of business in the transfer window. Much to my surprise he didn't say any of the 'big' clubs and their buys instead he went for Leicester and City's acquisition of Nathan Dyer, I nearly dropped my coffee. He thought Dyer was a perfect 'fit' for City and their style of play and threw in that Dyer was on Roy Hodgson's radar last season he also wondered if other clubs had realised that he was available and some would be kicking themselves for missing out.
