I’m not watching it but I noticed Madders is failing to unlock the mighty Tamworth’s defence with a reasonably strong Spurs side.

I’m sure they’ll be fine though.

He’s playing ok, but the ****s around him have so far been hopeless

He's been their best player by a mile. The rest of them have been laughably shit. I'm enjoying this game a lot.

I noticed while he was with us he had widows peaks, but now his hairline is completely different. Drinkwater managed to grow his hair back at Chelsea. What do they put in ‘big 6’ water bottles?

It’s almost as if the stupidly long contracts they dish out aren’t so much of a good idea.
I really hope for a day where a wage cap is introduced. It feels weird to me that you can go into hospital with cancer and a skilled and brilliant surgeon can remove it then put you back together, yet they won’t be paid a fraction in a year of what a bunch of fellas playing a kids game make in a month. We have our priorities completely wrong.

There should also be a cap on transfer fees. No one who kicks a ball should cost the stupid money being paid. We shelled out 25m this summer for mediocrity. 20 years ago Skip would have been a 250k player tops. It is stupid and it’s way out of control.

This game served up a textbook example of what the rule changes were designed to achieve.

Tamworth should be planning a trip to Spurs, getting probably their only chance for most players to turn out on a PL ground & probably the biggest payday in the clubs history.
Instead they get **** all after having to play an extra half hour against fitter full time players & a multi millon pound bench.
Protect the rich & powerful at all costs. Destroy everyone else. As in life, so in football.

All so the poor little fragile babies don't have to play too many games (boo hoo hoo)

Maybe if the associations didn't keep making up bullshit competitions like the Conference League (or Nations League for internationals) or letting teams with **** all chance of ever winning anything get into the "champions" league none of this shit would be needed. ****s the lot of them.

Top division was 42 games when I was growing up you bunch of ****ing fannies. Played on pitches that would have your legs sapped of energy after an hour for 2 thirds of the season.

Yep, this rule change is just the latest example of corporate greed.

Three goals for Tottering during extra time. They must be so so proud.
