New ex-players (and managers) thread

So journos just write any old made up bollocks but people on here know for a fact, despite having no connection to the club whatsoever, Ranieri revolutionised things??

Of the settled title winning side, only five of them played in the final game of the season before. And that was not because of missing players. They also played 3-5-2 with Albrighton as right wing back and Mahrez on the left/central and Vardy usually used in a wide attacking role.

Not to mention that there was no sign of a counter-attacking system, the narrow back four, no Kante, Fuchs or Okazaki, and no places for Simpson or Drinkwater (King was preferred to him after James got injured).

It did take him a few games to find his best system and personnel but it was completely and utterly different to what went before.

A number of players came out and said he came in and made very little changes. Obviously the people who played under him don't know the real facts but the anonymous forum posters here know everything..

What on earth are you talking about ?

Use your own eyes instead of reading what other people may say about it

We changed the system
We changed half of the personnel
We changed the whole way we play

Which part of the above did you completely fail to see with your own eyes during the whole of the sason, or completely fail to understand what was actually happening ?

I'm guessing all of it

Not journos by definition then, are they?
Yes. The term 'journalism' has been bastardised by the likes of those who 'create' stories for The Sun, The Daily Mail and the likes. It may have once carried a certain credit and respect and for many journalists that still exists but there are too many ill-informed, ignorant journalists that have made a mockery of the word; they are, however, still journalists by trade nonetheless. The fact of the matter is that many journalists do make up any old bollocks because it sells.

Unfortunately in common parlance in 2018, the word "journalist" is used alike for actual real legitimate journalists and random bellends writing endless reams of worthless opinions on garbage websites.

So basically, journalists produce factual articles if it backs up your argument but if it goes against it, it's made up bollocks??

Seems about right for this place.

I just jumped off the sofa to cheer a Chelsea goal. That’s how much I hate Man City.
