Mick Kennedy has died.

A cracking player for us, albeit briefly. Genuinely terrifying on the pitch. Harder than any of the so-called hard man midfielders of his era. I thoroughly enjoyed his time with us. Opponents didn't.

I remember him best from the day of the Hillsborough tragedy. We were at home to Champions elect Chelsea that day and he was immense against their old heads. Scared the shit out of them as we won 2-0.
