Jack Hobbs scores his first goal for 5 years for Bolton against Reading

Mahrez playing tonight for Man City against Arsenal. Oh wait - no he's on the bench again.

I'll have my brief say on the sacking of Pearson by OHL.

He got away with murder being allowed to keep that job so long. The biggest budget and the best squad in the league and he's somehow managed to make them rock bottom. He's united their entire fan base in opposition to him as a clueless incompetent. He's also done absolutely nothing with the City players that he's been in charge of developing.

I only hope that they've not sacked him too late to go down to amateur level. It would be a very bad failure on King Power's part.

Maybe he's done the whole thing on purpose as revenge on KP for their appalling treatment of his worthless son?

He is a certifiable lunatic after all.

Some absolute nutters would have him back here

Pearson was always tactically inept but he did some great work for us that I think played a big part in that title season. As far as the sacking goes, they've got players that should have the extra quality they wouldn't normally get in that league such as Kapustka and Hirst but Pearson has managed a royal bodge job...

Pearson was a phenomenal success here in both his spells, and I do think that a lot of fans don’t give him enough credit for his role in our recent successes.

But I think he’s completely done as a manager. I can’t see how he’ll ever get over sitting at home and watching Ranieri lift the title with Leicester. He has done a terrible job at OHL and the sacking was a long time coming.

I’ll always love the ****er though.

Your use of the word phenomenal seems a tad phenomenal to me.
