Lolz

Christ, where does he go from there?!

I'm surprised he's still managing to be fair. He's 70 now! Maybe he'll take this as a chance to retire.

I know he's gone further and further down the pyramid, but it's actually remarkable how he's managed to have such a long managerial career. His strength was coaching, you think at some point he (and those that keep employing him) would realise he's out of his depth as a manager and he'd better going back to being a coach. Like Craig Shakespeare...

Decided to have a look on twitter this morning. A few selections:

Lots of lessons learned from Brendan then.

Humbly taken his failures at Leicester, reassessed his approach, told himself some hard truths and returned to Celtic a better man, teammate, leader and coach.

Or

His career aspirations are in tatters thanks to his own stubborn arrogance and he’s a bitter man and a busted flush because of it.

Had he of walked away before the start of last season when he found out there was no money to spend, he would almost certainly now be managing Spurs and continuing to earn millions of pounds a year.

Instead he's managing in Scotland and if it doesn't go well, he'll probably struggle to get another decent appointment.

Where have we heard this before?

Kilmarnock viewpoint

"Their identity was lost," added ex-Kilmarnock custodian Cammy Bell. "Celtic didn't change their style of play, despite it being clear to see it wasn't working. I felt Kilmarnock wanted it a little bit more and like Celtic ran out of ideas."

Brendan out of ideas? Never....
