Scores a free kick at the death against possibly the worst organised wall you’ve ever seen

Mark Robins sacked
They have been shite this year but he dragged from the brink of oblivion to a kick away from the PL and a pubes width from an FA Cup final.

I think he earned a poor start to the season, especially in the Championship where they could still go on a great run and certainly compete for a play off spot, if not automatic promotion given how poor the league is this season compared to last.

But I thought he was rhe best manager in the history of English football.......?

The last couple of years have been the same thing - he's had success, had his best players sold from under him, had to rebuild, had a slow start as the new signings bed in, finished strongly for a reasonably successful season. This year he lost more and better players but seemed to have been getting over the slow start and to be getting a few results. I think he's very good at what he does. That doesn't mean I think he should be our manager, before anyone says, but we should take note - it's very possible that Leicester could be in the position Coventry have been in for a few years now. They came very close to what would have been an overachieving promotion from which they would almost certainly be relegated but which would have had a dramatic impact on their frayed finances. I'd have much rather have had someone like him when we were being managed by Rob Kelly/Craig Levein/Martin Allen/Gary Megson/Ian Holloway.
