Great move for him really and I understand why he pushed for it. He's on £250k a week for the next 6 years or so, regardless of how many games he plays or if he recovers from that injury.

If he had stayed with us he would have had 3-4 years left at probably £70k a week. For a player who's career already looks shaky, it was a very good financial decision.
