New forum style..

I'm considering making it the new default style, once I've finished customising it. The existing default style will still exist though, for people who prefer it.

I plan to add lots of extra stuff to the right had column on the new style. More LCFC news (and stuff like music news in the music forum), latest threads, more links etc.

Any suggestions of other stuff that could go there?

How will it look though when somebody posts with one of those ridiculously long usernames or if somebody posts a huge picture that throws the formatting out?

Looks alright.

I like it Jeff. The colours the same as those on the Mitre balls they're using at the minute. Not quite city colours bu near enough.

This might need sorting though (smilies disappear off the side).

The Orange could be better if changed to a deep yellow i guess. Or just a deeper orange.

That's because I made the smilies box wider than it should be after people complained about not enough smilies. I'll experiment with the settings to see what works best.


The colours aren't final yet, I'll be making a few changes before I make it the default.

I have been using this version for a few days, and I got used to it fairly quickly.

Oooooh! Great, I must be a real man then. :icon_wink

Monitor size & resolution wouldn't make a difference though, it's where the formatting of the page is screwed up by 38 character usernames that I was referring to.
