New forum style..

Just for the sake of clarity, that's your Windows desktop where all the icons are, not the big wooden thing with a chair next to it.

I wondered why nothing was happening.....I need to move the desk next to the window then ?

don't laugh - my first thought on reading his post was exactly that, "but there's where I always click", and so I did, and all properties gave me was a web address :icon_redf

If you change the style in your control panel (edit options - at the bottom), that will be the one used when you log in on a different computer.

If you just change style using the drop down menu at the bottom of the page, it will set a cookie that will be used next time you log on.

You currently have it set to use the default style, not the new one, which is why you keep having to change it.

Cheers Jeff I did use the bottom drop down, shall change it in my CP when I can find a style I am settled on!

I've decided to delay making the talkingballs style the default for the time being.

There's a new release of the forum software due for release in the next few weeks (the beta version is due on Monday), there's no point me customising the style to work with the current version if I'm going to have to redo it all for the new version.
