im sure i noticed walsall have nike doing their kits...if they can we should?!

Yeah they do or did Grimsby's as well!! We should get away from the crap like JJB and Le Coq and Fox Leisure, hopefully we will now that we have an owner that wants to take us places!!

Southend aswell.

We have 'Hummel' with those awful ^ in white on a blue kit. They're German. MM will just have some Fox Leisure made in Germany. No Adidas. MM's track record on kit/sponsorship deal is more poundstretcher and poundland than Harrods.

True, very ture. As long as we don't get sponsored by Beanie Babbies like Pompey were a couple of years back it will be ok!

Pompey never had decent kit manufacturers when MM was there, so I don't see any reason why we will get one here, although I'd love it if we did.

I like A + L has sponsor, local business, well known and simple logo that doesn't distract from the rest of the shirt.

Get rid of Walkers - they've underpaid us forever. Change the stadium name to "The Cauldron", have microphones on the backs of every chair (home fans only), give everyone a free drink and get the place rocking and crazy. Kit sponsors can be, I dunno, something like Fantasy channel X, or FHM or something so that there's loads of fanny at each match parading stuff like at the boxing, like instead of "round 4", a few of the birds could parade semi naked, nah, sod it, naked, completely starkers, with a board saying "2nd half", etc. Then the place would be full every match and live up to it's name "The Cauldron". Would be great IMO.

sounds good does that. Joe_Fox for chairman!

Shirt manufacture is all down to profit, I work in the industry and basically alot of the materials are sourced from the same suppliers (at the bottom end). The difference is that Nike and alike have the branding to allow them to charge more so the profit margin to city would be less, so if a 'named' brand came in the price of a shirt would more than likely go up but the quality not really that different.

I maybe wrong but I think Walsall, Southend and Grimsby kits are all 'catalogue' Nike kits. The deal was not done with Nike and Nike didnt design them espically. The order was laid onto Nike. Its common in foreign countries you see a lot of teams with tops which are the same in design, the only noticeable differences are badge and sponsor. Wisla Krakow and Notts Forest have the same red Umbro top for instance.

Which is why city went to JJB rather than Nike, Umbro e.c.t as they wanted a designed shirt not an 'off the peg'.

Can't we get the classic Admiral kit back, with the logo going round the shoulders, anyone got a pic?

I don't really know about anything else but I know that I think having our shirts made by JJB sports makes us look about is tacky and cheap as Wigan  You know Nike/Addidas makes sense Milan ;)
