I hope Mads is okay? Surely injured? There’s no other justification for Ward.
 
After the way we fought back and finished against Brighton it gave me real hope that we would be up for a scrap. It never happened - we were outplayed from the very start. How we didn't concede in first 29 minutes was down to Mads - but other than that we seem totally bewildered, Newcastle continued to rip through us and we didn't have a clue a) how to stop them, and b) manage an attack of our own.

Shambles.

We had no midfield. I had zero hope for today. Hamza and Skipp because the rest are ****ed. What were we expecting?

Might as well get the nailed on defeats out the way before the January window. Will be interesting to see what we can do, Ruud has been promised funds but at the same time we haven't got a pot to piss in at least in terms of PSR...
 
My work Christmas party last night. Massive hangover today. As days go it keeps giving.
 
If anyone had said at the start of the season that we need Soumare in the team they'd have been considered a total loony.

To be fair we did hugely miss Soumare, Winks and Ndidi

Precisely.

I was expecting a battering and we got one. Our squad just isn't strong enough to cope with losing Ndidi, Soumare, Winks and Fatawu.

Ndidi was a massive, massive loss for us today.
 
missed the game today on a Germany trip, I think we have 4 points out if a possible 9 not too bad. I was not expecting anything from this game considering our midfield was depleted.

the Wolves game is huge and the other 3will be amazing if we manage any points from them.

It will be nip and tuck until the end of the season, if we cannot secure our targets for the Jan window, I hope to god we don't just buy random shit like we did in the summer.
