The only bright spot was winning £280 on 4-0.
Pretty obvious we were going to get bummed with the players who weren’t available today.
Lambs to the slaughter

Still can’t believe that the total **** Rudkin sat down with that incompetent buffoon Cooper - and undoubtedly one or two other twats - and their amazing deliberations led to us spunking £35million on Skipp and Okoli

Incredible, really

Yet we’re still above the two teams that came up with us.
What we already had here at the club is to thank for that. We haven’t signed anyone that improves us. Our team is worse now than the team that started our championship winning season.

It was Maresca leaving that fecked us.

WOTS is that EM had spent months identifying a specific type of player - young, technical, potential to develop, etc. and Martyn Glover had it all planned out.

We then inexplicably recruited a manager who had totally different ideas on how to compete this season. That's not Cooper's fault, or Glover's for that matter.

However, Glover then had to bin all the plans and start again with a totally different set of requirements.

As always, everything is the fault of Aiyawatt, the utterly useless billionaire baby, and his loyal poodle Rudkin.

When I saw, in the match thread, that Danny Ward was coming on, I thought he was going to play in mid-field.

We could have just not signed them....then we'd have more to help get us out of the shit, also wouldn't have the added headache of trying to loan them out/lose them in the woods for the next few seasons.

We'd have a lot less points now if we'd been without goal contributions from summer signings.

Yeah I can believe that

Incredible that we went out on a limb with a manager with a whole new playing style and culture, allowed that to embed throughout the team, and then we go a replace him with a backwards looking dinosaur like Cooper who was as anti-Maresca as you could possibly get

I know options were limited, but with that one act we dismantled everything that we had tried to build up to that point and it left us in a complete shitstorm

Ludicrous decision making

I will be fascinated to see Ruud's take on it.

We really need to start pressuring Top to sell up. There’s a real chance he could send this club into oblivion with the way it’s heading.

Let’s not forget that it’s him who is still employing Rudkin to run the footballing operations, despite constantly demonstrating he’s a useless ****.

I'm not convinced he needs to sell up, IMO you cant question his commitment but you can question the way the club is being run and that means probably binning off Rudkin and certainly bringing in someone with more experience and nous to run things from just under Top. Certainly I don't think we are going to see any meaningful change until there's some chop and change at boardroom level.

Hermansen felt a pain in his groin so was taken off.

They're hoping it's not serious but he'll need to be scanned.

For some reason there's something about Rudkin that reminds me of Daniel Levy. Does enough to make himself comfortable with zero ambition.

So today's disaster is the fault of everyone, Maresca, Cooper, Rudkin, Top etc. but not the players?

Difficult to blame players for just being shite really. They could turn the job down but other than that...not much anyone could do. if you offered me £50k a week to do Danny Ward's job I'd take it. just using him as an example. I'm sure both Cooper and RVN has asked them to not be shit but it's where we're at.

RVN would have learnt more today than from the first two results. We do have a poor squad, but by hook or by crook we desperately need to stay in this division…
