Nevertheless, it was an excellent appointment.

Good appointments:
Pearson
Ranieri
Rodgers
Maresca

Shit appointments:
Sousa
Eriksson
Puel
Smith
Cooper

Neither good nor shit:
Shakespeare (didn't work out but I get the appointment)

So, I reckon we are due a good one.....

It's going to be Bruce isn't it.
Eriksson bought us a few good players mind.

But also Chris Kirkland, Neil Danns, Roman Bednář, Lee Peltier, Gelson Fernandes, Michael Ball, Michael Johnson, Nathan Delfouneso, Matt Mills, John Paintsil, Sean St Ledger…
Matt Mills. What an underwhelming tosser he seemed to be.

Praying for a miracle.

Doesn’t matter who it is - the barrel can’t be scraped any lower than was scraped last time

The miracle would be the poor fecker somehow sorting out the shitshow that the hopeless **** has left behind

Christ it is then.

No, Dean Smith (assisted by John Terry) was the absolute bottom of the barrel. I think it's unfair to take that away from him, it was genuinely his only achievement during his tenure at the club.

Potter did very well at Ostersunds, average at Swansea (I daren’t mention the manager who replaced him and did much better), did well at Brighton, and completely stunk out Chelsea.

So a bit of a mixed bag really. I just don’t get the fascination with him.

Is success at Ostersunds something to even brag about?

Is one good season at Brighton considered “doing well?” They played some good football at times.

And I think he set them up nicely for the future but his first season there, they scraped 41 points. And some of his football was criminally boring.

De Zerbi walked in and did a better job, and now their current manager is smashing it.

He could yet be a very good manager but jury’s out for me. And if he wasn’t English, I doubt he’d be so highly wanked over

I'd forgotten that half of those had ever played for us. And I wish I could forget that the other half had ever played for us.
