Corberan plays good football and did extremely well turning around Huddersfield and then WBA. The WBA squad isn’t the greatest.

My logic is probably flawed, but should a man who couldn’t get WBA past the play-offs last season, be anywhere near a PL job which such high stakes in terms of survival?
To my mind, if Corberan can overachieve to the same degree he did with Huddersfield and West Brom, he'll have us easily safe. Football isn't /that/ different between the EPL and the EFL - he's the man for me, and the reported buyout cost is peanuts - one fifth of Oliver Skipp! Certainly a much smaller gamble than RVN

Because we’ve never had a plan on managerial appointments under these owners
If you work for the club and are privy to board level decisions I will bow to your superior knowledge, otherwise you are just a mushroom like me.

This is the point I'm making, I guess. Let's see what happens, but if it's Dean Smth-esque, or we haven't got someone in by the weekend, I think the anger will be understandable and real.
I'd still be more confident of a result at the weekend without a manager in place compared to if we still had Cooper in charge.

It's better to take our time and make sure we get it right rather than just getting someone in for the weekend.
