I don't fully agree. But even if I did, he's still orders of magnitude better than anything we're likely to end up with.

I’m just not at all convinced he is. I’d have Robins over him; at least he’s shown some aptitude for this league. You’re right in that the field is narrow but Potter just screams expensive failure.
