Leicester City have set a target to aquire a further 6–7 players in order to push on from their League 1 championship in search of back to back promotions for a return to the Premiership. These are some of the rumours that I have heard mentioned around the club:

Grzegorz Szamotulski – GK from Hibs

Robbie Neilson – RB from Hearts – Done deal

Simon Cox – STR from Swindon – Should be sorted next week.

Daniel N'Guesssan – WG from Lincoln – Will sign if Sheff U lose to Burnley in the playoff final.

Ben Burgess – Fw from Blackpool

Asen Popov – Lb from Botev – I know nothing about him

Nigel has also openly stated he's like to bring back Clev, Bunn and Gilbert both on season long loans. These won't be announced until training begins in the summer again.

DJ Campbell – QPR/Coventry
Chris Powel – Retire/coaching role
Patrick Kisnorbo – Sheff U/Crystal Palace
Paul Henderson – Last time I spoke with him he wanted to play back in Oz not sure if he's found anywhere as yet.

Fairly high up in the PFA which would be good to have. The bloke has been playing for 20+ years and a wealth of experience. Seems fit and highly motivated too.

I enjoyed it last year when we made Adams, Morrisson and Dyer our first 3 signings. No Rumours or 'my Mum is having an afair with Nige and he whispered this into her ear', just genuine surprise and excitement when we'd signed some good youngsters from the lower leagues. And its not like any of these 'in the know' posters knew about Nielson, our only signing so far this summer.

So we are getting twelve ( twelve, count 'em ) in are we and he tells us the outstanding news that N'Guessan will be on a free plus add-ons (despite the fact that we have to pay a fee for him because of his age ) and then suggests we may be shipping Henderson out to Bolton despite the fact he is out of conract.
