We need a big squad to cover injuries and suspensions if we are going to make a determined push for promotion, so I would keep the following:

Henderson and Logan - OUT Douglas
Kisnorbo, McAuley, Johansson, Stearman, McCarthy (if he improves his discipline) - OUT Kenton and Maybury
Johnson, Jarrett, Porter, Yeates if he is cheap, Wesolowski (seems permanently injured though - OUT Hughes, Tiatto (Aus), Glombard (obviously not made an impact on RK so far)
Horsfield, Hume, Cadamarteri, (Fryatt and Hammond, if they can improve) - OUT De Vries, because he appears to have fallen out with us.

I do not count the kids such as Sheehan and Dodds as part of the squad.

So I have kept about 15 or 16, so we probably need about 5 or 6 in. Gonna need one outstanding striker and one outstanding attacking centre midfield. Also a very good right wing and two fast wing backs.

Close what I had in mind. Except I can see one of Maybury or Kenton staying along with Hughes. Cadermateri, Yeates and maybe hammond going too.

I would go with that except I would give AJ a start as a CM and I would start The Horse in place of Hume.

And I would like a good battling holding midfielder with Johnson being one for the bench. He is getting on a bit so I don't see him as doing 90 minutes every week...he should be back up next season.

We need a striker or two, and we need a left winger. Porter is too easily beaten up and too inconsistent. One day he can be cracking the next he can be the worst on the pitch. We need a bit more experience in that position.

We probably need a midfielder with a bit of creativity too. Other than that I think we should build on the foundations rather than knock them down and start again. I think if we added 4-5 quality players this team could be contenders.

i know everyone seems to love hume, however he is not the answer, i dont think he will get us up. i used to love him but the simple fact is he is noit a goal scorer. keep him but im not sure about a starter. i also hold reservations over porter but we will see.

If Nills is at the end of contract he will go, but might have a year left?
Listen to offers - Stearman, Hughes, Maybury.
Offer deals to - The horse and depending on the rest of the season AJ, Danny Cad, Jarret. Yeates will depend on what Spurs want.

Some Possible Prem Targets? Richard Wright loan for season from Everton, Toderov already being muted, David Thompson not playing at Bolton, Bryan Hughes Charlton linked before, Trevor Sinclair out of contract in the summer and a proper winger.
Mikael Forssell is out of favour at Brum and if they went up might listen to offers.

IMO Hume could be that outstanding attacking midfielder, He is not a natural finisher, but he can run with the ball, take players on, tracks back to win the ball. I would give him a few games as an attacking midfielder see how he gets on.

Possibly a manager, (although a high profile assistant to Kelly to be better at attracting new players), maybe Jamie Redknapp.
