According to the other forum, steve clarke and brendan rogers.

Do you know why Jones turned down Hull DryDal?
My understanding was that this rumour was a non starter.

He met the Malaysians and was given assurances about what finances would be available to him this season, reinforced when the tax bill was paid, and was happy to stay.

Why would he leave a club which is in an excellent position again this season to achieve promotion when his family are settled here, when he is reported to be the best paid manager in the Championship, and when he has always said he wouldn't leave unless a Premiership club came calling. He is also a shareholder so has a vested interest in getting the club promoted.

He's made no secret of the fact he wants the Everton job when Moyes goes, so if Jonesy left for Leicester I would be so gobsmacked that you'd probably never hear from me again.

Keegan.
You didn't hear it first, but I will keep banging on about him in the hope that someone tells Keegan he is loved down here and we have a great club for him to manage!

Whoever comes in has got a simple remit. Get Leicester City into the Prem with no money. Making use of the loan and free transfer market to bring in suitable replacements for Waggy ans such like, using your own excellent scouting network. You will also be expected to get the best out of DJ Campbell as it seems that he's going nowhere. You will have to work with a chairman who has a revolving door managerial background and a set of fans that will turn on you the instant your team concedes a goal.

There should be queue as far as the eye can see.

Granted I've never managed TOP flight football, but I feel I've got enough Football Manager hours under my belt to justify my appointment. I'm hereby starting an application process for my assistant manager/scouting/coaching team. Anyone want on board?

I'll take the Head of Recruitment job thanks.

On a more serious note though, I'd love us to get O'Driscoll if Pearson fecks off to Hull.

Simon Grayson or Paulo Sousa!

Wouldn't be surprised to see MM post this in the jobs section.

My first concern is the timing. Any transfer targets will be dropped, pre-season looks very off with just three friendlies and it's in the midst of the transfer window thus meaning players the fans have some attachment could well be sold by a manager who has no attachment to them.

The appointment needs to be before pre-season ideally as the pitfalls of having a poor pre-season in terms of fitness would be costly. At the same time I wouldn't want us to rush a very important managerial appointment.

To be honest Hazz, can't see there being much of a rush.
