Rehhagel or Hitzfeld would do.

I get the impression he is unhappy full stop, typical dour Scotch bellend

Billy Davies has applied for several jobs this summer. Not very happy at F*&%t! Doesn't like the lack of control he has over transfers.

Again. I very much doubt Milan would pay another team compensation for their manager. Would be over the moon if it happened though.

Wouldn't surprise me if MM hired a well regarded ex-player to try and get the fans back on his side. You know how idiotic and some fans are.

Gary Mac it is...

I don't want Davies. Did well last season but am still to be convinced after the complete dross of a team that he assembled at derby.

I still don't think this is done and dusted with Pearson. I really hope he stays. If he does go though I would not have a clue who to go for. I'd certainly say no to spineless Southgate.

Are you kidding me?! You mean that complete dross that he promoted to the Premier League? :102: I would be more than happy with that complete dross.

Not to mention the very good Championship side he built at Preston.

Davies record at Championship level is outstanding, only Steve Coppell's is better from the realistic appointments of Champ teams. I very much doubt it'd ever happen, but we'd be idiotic to turn down the chance if it did arise.

As soon as he signed darren moore and claude davis I lost complete faith in his ability to manage! Derby were completely woeful that season in the premier. I have seen very average managers get teams promoted from the championship and I think Davies is one of them. At preston he built a good side that never actually did anything!

He got them too two play-offs. Play-off are just a lottery on another day he could have got them to the PL.

Yes, his Derby side in the PL were woeful, but he got them there, ffs! That's all I'm bothered about right now, we can worry about how we do if we ever get there.

And another outstanding season with Forest last season.

Pretty much every full season he's been in the Championship he has done an excellent job. To write him off as average and to not want him as a manager is ridiculous. He's a brilliant manager at this level.

Far from a lottery. They are a test of who can prepare their team the best for a high pressured series of games. This season, forest completely blew it and were tactically and defensively woeful. To get spanked on your home ground like they did, is inexcusable.

That was someone taking the piss out of the inevitable calls for Walsh, hence the chavtastic spelling in the post.

Someone wanted Shearer :102:

I don't know how you persevere over there. Normally you have to drive a plane into a building to be surrounded by that many virgins.

That's the only reason I'd offer Shakespeare the job. Not sure he's got what it takees to be a manager, and I'm not sure Walsh is "proper" assistant material, he seems to be mainly a scout.

I think Walsh is a lot more than a scout. A scout just gives reports. Walsh has apparently been the man doing deals with clubs.
At the match he is also the man in the stand viewing from above and sending messages to Shakespoeare via a radio mic or whatever they use.

As Milan is "on Safari" perhaps he is really in South Africa negotiating a deal for our new manager.

Sven Goran Eriksson perhaps?

Surprise surprise Sven steps down as Ivory Coast Manager

Sven-Goran Eriksson has refused to confirm where his future lies after stepping down as Ivory Coast manager.

His team crashed out of the World Cup 2010 in the opening stages after failing to progress from Group G, and now that the Swede's short term deal as coach has ended, he has been linked with a return to club management.
