That said i find it a dull and uninspiring appointment. I'll give him till October.

Personally don't think NP is high profile enough, but saying that no high profile name would want to work for MM so we will just have to get behind him and wish him all the luck.
Luck is what we need to get out of league 1 as we've had no luck in the championship.

I am happy at the decision that Mandaric made about apointing him as manager, i have always liked the guy and i think he will be the right man for the job, if not he will be out by Christmas and we will yet again be looking for another which will put us in the same position and we wont be able to get a manager i dont think.

If nothing else Pearson has brought about the merciful end of this silly silly dance (at least for a few months). Hope he survives the season and beyond because that'll mean he's doing a decent job.

I know as much about Pearson as, I suspect, most of you: i.e. very little but, I suspect this might be the shrewdest signing of all. Nobody is expecting too much of him: who will be surprised if he is gone by Christmas? That just might cut him the necessary slack to make a go of the job.
Incidentally, we should not even contemplate ousting Pearson this season (unless we're in the relegation zone with half a dozen games to go!)

I'd take Gregory any day compared to another Mandaric yes man.

Be prepared for another 15 players you've never heard of who won't get a game.

All the people who wanted Holloway out should be delighted with the calibre of his replacement.

The one good thing about all this is that Holloway has gone - I don't know much about Pearson but I do know that Holloway was a liability who got one of the most expensive sides in the division relegated. I may have missed something but I haven't picked up any rush for his services.

My guess is that Pearson is about as good as it gets at the moment - I haven't got a clue if he will be successful, but it's better than putting up with more nonsense from Ollie.
