Here's one for the conspiracy theorists: Nigel has a break clause in his contract if City don't go up which means that if the club doesn't go up he can be released at the end of the season with no compensation but if he is released before the end of the season he gets his contract paid out, Nigel thinks he is likely to be released and doesn't want to go with no pay out so tries to force the issue.

It's a daft theory but I'm feeling daft this morning.

You may know that I am not a fan of NP, but I think you'd be more believable were you to suggest that Pearson had been kidnapped by aliens and replaced with a doppelgänger! :icon_bigg

The trouble with you writing something like that is that there is a fair chance it will be picked up and soon we will see it repeated as "fact" as someone "heard it from a reliable source"

I posted a complete lie on another website once and had it repeated to me as 'from a reliable source' mere hours later.
