And it isn’t like we haven’t all be saying for about 3/4 years that if anything happens to Vardy we are ****ed.
Was thinking more about the wide positions to be honest.

Barnes/Perez/Albrighton/Gray - lots of options but sadly none good enough.

Either way... we look like a bunch of wankers right now. I dare say a few don’t have their minds where they should be.

The problem is we have a soft belly without Wilf that gets exposed time after time, the 3 in midfield are to lightweight with Maddison the worst he's a quality player but a big girls blouse when we have to dig in.
Also we don't have a single winger that is up to the standard, Barnes has potential but isn't anywhere near it yet, Perez is a striker playing out of position.
If we are going to play this system I wouldp play Justin at RB with Ricardo in front.
In the summer we seriously need to recruit 2 decent wide players or next season is going to be poor.

The ball hits the defender on the arm before it touches Nachos mitt, but he gets penalised!
****ing crazy!
Here’s one to ponder, Ball comes to Chilly in our box, accidentally touches his arm, he lampoons it up the field. Vardy runs on and scores.
VAR says handball in build up, but hang on, he’s a defender in his own box. Do they have a penalty ?

exactly the first hand ball was ignored last night because it hit the defender, the game restarted with a free kick to them for Nachos supposed handball

Can't be much incentive for Madders to help us get a CL spot if it means Man Utd are more likely to miss out.

The first handball was ignored because it was accidental/ ball to hand and therefore doesn’t warrant a free kick. The second one was penalised because it was part of a goal being scored. Had he not scored that too would have been ignored.

In HTB’s scenario, the goal would have been disallowed. There would not have been a penalty for the handball as it was accidental.

That’s the new law. Like it or not we’re stuck with it.

A team full of lightweights who's only ambition in the game is to go to ****ing Man U. Someone needs to rip in to these useless ****s & get them ****ing motivated. Only one person has that defined role. So start earning your ****ing money mate. Start by dropping people who clearly think they're untouchable.

You can start with the prima ballerina Sub-Beckham wannabe.

I just hope someone at the club is looking at the transfer market for the Summer & eyeing up some complete ****ing bastards to fill at least one midfield berth. Along with the decent wingers we so obviously already needed.

Also it should be obvious to anyone that we have one season left of Vardy after this, so please God let us finally spend money on a striker who doesn't turn out to be total wank.

Next few weeks will be crucial long term. Because we'll need to seriously downgrade those players we're looking for if we don't have CL football to offer them. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that the future 3 to 4 years of the club could go one way or the other based on the next 10 games.

We were sitting pretty a month ago despite not playing well. Someone on here said it'd take relegation form to chuck the CL away...3 wins in 12 plus losing to the worst team in the league is exactly that.

We should be secured in 4th place by now with a cup final tomorrow. We could easily end up with nothing.

& then of course...the lightweights who cost us will all **** off to Manchester.

That's the problem with modern football. Even failure is richly rewarded, so where's the incentive? Especially for the sort of young players we seem to have here who clearly lack mental strength & quit easily.

If it’s an accidental handball then there would be no free kick. As the ball then crossed the goal line the other end, I would expect it to be a goal kick. Maybe this weird new law has a weird new way of restarting.

Why?

The "offence" would be an accidental handball in our penalty area. In any other area of the pitch it would be a free kick to our opponents from the place the offence happened.
As there is now no such thing as an accidental handball in the build up to a goal, the offence is obviously handball and the outcome would have to be a penalty. Let's just be thankful that Chilwell can't kick the ball that far!

Hasn’t Brendan talked about how he needs to learn to tone it down? It’ll take him a couple of games to get the balance right but long term he’ll be better for it

I hope you're right. To see a half pace Hamza wasn't pleasing.

It was of course implicit (or at least I thought it was!) that Hamza was suffering with post red card trauma. But thanks to the sandwich man for pointing it out ;)

I'm beginning to wonder if our tactics, reliant as they are on Ndidi mopping up in the middle, are wrong in his absence. BR tries to replace Ndidi in the shape (Hamza, Mendy, Praet - or combinations there of) in the hope that everything else remains the same. It doesn't. Wilf covers a lot of ground and helps out our fullbacks in their defensive duties when wingers (Barnes/Perez) don't drop back. There's a hole not just in the middle but across the pitch when Ndidi isn't playing.

Even with Ndidi, I reckon we've been rumbled and there ought be a rethink as to how we approach games. Or we could of course just continue with our training ground drills in the hope it'll all come right.

He wasn’t too far outside the box for the Vardy through ball against Bournemouth

We’re Leicester City and this is how we play.

Soyuncu gets the ball from Schmeichel and gives it Chilwell. He advances with it and does one of two things.

If he decides he can’t pass to Barnes, he stops, turns around and gives it to someone in midfield. By this time the opposition have all their players behind the ball and smother our attack.

Alternatively he gives it to Barnes who, if he decides he can’t beat the right back, returns it to Chilwell who gives it back to Barnes who gives it back to Chilwell who gives it back to Barnes who gives it back to Chilwell etc until they finally lose possession and are both left out of position and unable to defend an attack by the opposition.

Sometimes instead, Evans gets the ball from Schmeichel. He gives it to Ricardo. He advances with it and gives the ball to Perez. Perez runs with the ball either out to the touch line or inside looking for a midfielder to pass the ball to. Either way it doesn’t matter because he gets tackled by a defender and falls to the ground thinking he will get a foul. He never does but always looks to the referee in total amazement which no one in the ground shares. He stays on the floor for a good few seconds while the opposition launch an attack.

Repeat the above about every 5 minutes for the rest of the game.

That is why the law need re writing
