something needs to happen to the lads to boost them and get them out of this rut. its been 4 years of shite, and i really cant see where the inspiration will come from. today isnt a 'crunch' game, but its important to set up a strong end to the season, i hope ollie plays people in proper positions, and make sure everyone knows what they're doing. hume has to be dropped for a couple of games to give him some initiative to play well.

Footballers are not renowned for making particularly sensible statements so we should not take his comments too literally.

On other comments in this thread, I would just say that we seem to go through a cycle of optimism followed by despair. We get beaten; much head beating follows; then unfounded optimism about the next game followed by more despair when we get beaten again.

Norwich are a better side than us and as indicated earlier their away record is superior to our home record. Both sides have played mid week and are coming towards the end of a season when they have played too many games for their own good. In the circs i would go for a draw - possibly 1-1.
