That's just ridiculous, don't they realise it's just banter, some people just can't take it. They need to develop a thick skin and learn to be able to take a joke.
Whatever next? It's like those fools that get all offended with people chanting "TOWN FULL OF PAKIS!", when there clearly is a lot of Asians living in Leicester. It's just a statement of fact and is friendly banter.

they were no doubt looking for it - just as they will be when spurs visit us next season. man utd, however, could be subject to sick munich taunts without anyone being arrested. there is a point where banter becomes offensive. a difficult call.

just to add - it doesn't matter what your personal view is.. monkey noises, racist, homophobic chants etc. are hate crimes NOT banter - doesn't matter if it's in the street or at a football game - it's 2014 for goodness sake not 1970

Blimey! Looks like I missed loads of fun in here.Oh well,I guess I'll just content myself with something totally non-controversial.
I ****ing hate Brighton.Overhyped,stupidly expensive pretend city that likes to think it's London just because it has an overabundance of rank nightclubs specialising in 237 forms of boring dance music that all sound exactly the ****ing same despite all being called something different.
As for the football side of it,well Withdean doesn't need any discussion really.Everyone knows how awful that was.But The Goldstone was also a horrible place.News items & documentaries often use footage of disused football grounds with weeds growing out of the cracked concrete terracing.The Goldstone looked like that when it was in use.Never been to the Amex so can't comment but as it's a modern build I suppose I actually have been to it but with different coloured seats in another town.
Brighton & Hove Albion FC themselves? As a team? Just always found them to be irritating & annoying for some reason.I even wanted Man Utd to beat them in the '83 cup final & my loathing of Utd goes way,way back.
I mean to say,how can you take seriously any club that has Steve Foster in its pantheon of legends??? I saw him play a fair few times & it was like watching a donkey wearing John McEnroe's headband running around a field.

Even though we have played crap ( plus lessening injury situation ) the last two referees have been comical or would be to a neutral.

We actually parked in Lewes this year but had to walk the whole way back because buses were full. It's a funking shambles and the club/university don't help.
