Not just the drug running or match fixing. But properly siphoning money out of your club bent.
We had one of those too. So we can see the signs. It is highly likely to end in disaster.

The players who got them promoted weren’t good enough to play in the Premier League (in which they’d just rightfully earned a place) so the club have wisely signed a load of randoms scouted via Football Manager 2017

Been saying all along theyve blown their lottery winnings on a load of absolute dross. Can't ebelieve as well some of our fans actually would like Cooper to replace Rodgers - bloke has done **** all at the top level - they'll likely be relegated having spent £150m. That money should have been saved up in case of relegation in their first year. Thre's a fine line between ambition and wrecklessness and they've been wreckless....

He's done an astonishingly good job with that mess of a club. The fact that the owner is clearly running a money laundering business through the clubs books isn't his fault. He'll be in high demand from a few decent clubs when managers inevitably dumped throughout the season.

Yep. I like Cooper. He's worked wonders there considering the state of what he inherited.
As for not having done anything at the top level, well I'd imagine if Rodgers goes whoever we get next won't have either. Who's actually available that's achieved anything at Prem level? Can't be many.

Even ignoring the money laundering, scraping through the playoffs with a team of 20 loan players from other clubs, then upon promotion replacing them with 30 mercenaries with your Premier League blood money kind of describes everything wrong with modern football.
How can you have much of a connection to a squad that all came in at the exact same time and will all leave at once as soon as you're relegated again?
