IMO Hume has been carrying the midfield and the strikers and without him I think we would already be relegated.

I am not one of these 'hume lovers' who even applaud when he makes a mistake, but I can see a player who is giving his all and being let down by those around him and those who should be guiding him, for 23 he is doing a fecking fine job.

From what I saw against Leeds he along with Kisnorbo and Macauley looked anywhere near up to the standard we need.Porter was ok

ive just quickly worked it out that without his goals we would be 12 points worse off...doesnt bear thinking about :icon_conf i agree with the rest of what you put :038:

Whereas Fryatt, Johnson and Cadamarteri have lit up the whole league :icon_roll
No of course not and if you read my ****ing responses you'd soon realise I would have them as squad players.

If you're all so ****ing clever at picking holes in the players I'd keep, then let's see your list of players you'd keep

im coming round to this. he just frustrates the **** out of me at games where he missed sitters every game.

i really think he would be great as an attacking midfielder/freerole type player behind the strikers. but unfortunatly we have and never will have a manager to try this style of play. i actually think english managers are boring, we need a european with a bit of flair and tactics.

The thing is Lako, who else is getting in those positions to miss the sitters, most games Hume is dropping back into the midfield to win the ball then needing to be upfront to put the ball away. Hume is not a poacher, he is more likely to score from 20 yards as he is 6.

we should never have released low. he was a cracker.

****ing hell, it's almost the same as my list :icon_roll

Hume is not and never has been an out and out striker. HF mentioned it elsewhere and I think it's true, play him as an attacking midfielder behind two forwards, maybe fryatt and horse, and he will latch onto the balls that fall to the edge of the area and bang them in.

When we signed him I thought he was a Striker but its clear to me he isn't
