The media reaction has been over the top but if you don't want the attention then don't play the clown when everyone already has you down as doomed. Common sense surely?
Precisely.

I think the real issue is what is in the longer term interests of the club.
The club has to plan its business on the almost certain prospect of relegation. Is Pearson the best manager to take the club forward? If he is not then who may be available who is better?
The results this season are appalling - well beyond the normal criteria for saking a manager. The likely playing squad will know they are no where near good enough for the PL? Is this a good basis for carrying on as you were? Is it best to make a fresh start or is it unrealistic to hope for anything better?
Irrespective of this current little incident/ balls up, the owners have big problems and I hope that they don't opt to back out of the club by cutting their losses.
So, individually good enough.
Hamer, wasi, huth, cambiasso, mahrez, knockeart, schlupp (i admit was wrong about him) , kramaric (looks real quality on the ball).
The sad truth is we should be staying up, manager is clueless.
Players I feel proven not good enough, but count the playing time they been given.
Drinkwater, morgan, james
Players in grey area.
Hammond (was poor last season but held his own this season when played), vardy (man utd aside hes not done well), moore, da leat ( i think these two can improve in experience has hurt them), albrighton, ulloa (he can score but his possession play is pretty bad, loses possession a lot), nugent (so many missed sitters but good in possession play), wood (not given enough time), konchesky (can look good in some games but daft in others), schmeichel.
Also that because of a grudge he has vs stringer, he has the whole club blanking out the main media outlet for fans, disgusting.
For those who love to say changes to managerial positions dont work, well wba, palace, qpr say otherwise.
We will see come May. Just for info Norwich, Fulham and Cardiff all relegated changing their manager. They have since sacked their managers who started the season with them.
Are there stats for teams that sack their manager but do not change manager then get relegated then sack and not reinstate then change their manager?
