I am sorry (not really, but it's nice to be polite, isn't it? :icon_bigg), but I am going to go against the trend of blaming the Communist BBC for using clever film effects to disparage cuddly Nigel.
If NP had not gone into the post match interview determined to prove that he was the biggest thug in Christendom, the odd incident on the touchline would have passed quietly into history. Cracking one's knuckles (OK, a tiny touch of hyperbole) and saying, "I'm a big boy, I can look after myself." really was rather pathetic from a grown man.
I get the feeling that NP's tactics are very much to play the, "They're all against us!" card and use it to motivate his squad into a "We'll show 'em" mentality. This is fine but, if he sails so close to the line, he is bound to cross it occasionally. A good result tonight - not necessarily a win, but a draw or close defeat, and he may say that it has worked. A heavy defeat, and I shall be the first, but far from the only person, to believe that the Pearson ego has, once more, deflected Leicester City FC from its main goal.
