you cant compare a footballers job with every other job and just say i wouldnt go out if i performed badly in the office or something.

with certain jobs comes certain responsibilities and you accept certain sacrafices will have to be made.

half of the squad who have just got a ****ing hammering in cardiff going out and getting so shit faced and all going 'yea yea were gonna hammer luton next week' (which is what they were saying) is not acceptable when
we are 4 points of relegation.

the difference with walshy taggs etc is they were doing it and playing foooking well. these useless wankers are playing like ****ing nancy boys losing important games and rubbing it in the hard working people who pay to watch their useless attempt at football.

a little more reserve from them would not go a miss. also my original point is that i see stearman out mid week every week and at weekends.

No matter what anyone says on here it is unnaceptable for half the squad to get wankered when we are where we are as lovely rob puts it. maybe he just hasnt got the bollocks to tell them how they will behave and whats expected of them by their employer.

Your points regarding Stearman may well be true, however to suggest that just because these players aren't getting results then they shouldn't be allowed a 'normal' weekend is just a) not going to happen and b) fairly unreasonable.

If Stearman is drinking too much perhaps this is why he can't get a game for us and is also not going anywhere it would seem? Down to the management to get this right.

one of my old school friends signed for the city and played nearly 100 first team games. When we used to go out we used to go out towards Northampton, Coventry or Rugby. This was to reduced the chances of him being recognised and either being pestered or abuse shouted at him depending on results. He also didnt drink at all, stuck to soft drinks

thats what i was thinking. ive been living in leicester city center for 3 years and ive never seen so many of them out so often. i have no doubt it is related to that bollocks they all serve up on a match day. also Gareth mac was out and much more reserved, looked like he knew it was a problem for people that they were there and was drinking soft drinks from what i saw, and hes our best performer, just backs it up even further.

No, I agree. The amount of money they're paid must surely compensate for 10-15 yrs of looking after yourself, not drinking yourself stupid and lording it round town.
