I think there is a little danger that people are starting to think like The Foxes Trust - that they speak for all Leicester fans. I am sure that those on the Kop can speak for themselves..

Yes it is a difficulty of running a fans organisation & it is why it is important that a board runs the Trust & not one individual. The board has to collectively decide how we handle an issue & therefore debate topics. Often a collective decision & viewpoint can be expressed by the Trust which individual board members wouldn't have as their own viewpoint, but that is an issue that any organisation faces.

A regular consultation with our members via e-mail on topics is also important & we are currently compliing the results of our latest survey in preparation for the meeting on the 17th. In this case we have recorded which stand each member who responded sits in, so we can analyse the different experiences per stand

We have succeeded in getting a member of Stand Up, Sit Down to attend next week, to aid destruction of some the safety red herrings that will be thrown up by the authorities.

Welcome to the 21st century. If the people in the Kop had wanted a "rare touch of trouble" and the kind of atmosphere that being next to the away fans brings, I am sure that they would have re-located to L1 by now - or to the block to the other side of the away fans that the Club took out of the family area last season.

I think there is a little danger that people are starting to think like The Foxes Trust - that they speak for all Leicester fans. I am sure that those on the Kop can speak for themselves - and if the state of the mind of the average football fan has changed in the last 20 years, then so be it. And possibly for the better too - weren't a lot of fans driven away from the game in the 1980s?

Sorry to hear that you're giving up, Bobby, but I do think that there are that many who simply prefer to watch the match.

Boc, the "rare touch of trouble" I refered to was my crap attempt to point out that I'm not looking at this through rose tinted spectacles, I know there were bad sides to being a city fan over the last few years, just as there are now.

I understand that things have to progress and thankfully football is alot safer in general to attend now. I hope your not right in your thinking that I'm now in the minority with the way I would like to support City from the Kop, maybe there will come a time when I decide it's not for me.
Full respect to you if you can support City if the atmosphere completely dries up, we are two very different types of supporter but luckily both City fans.

I want to LOUDLY supoort City and I want there to be more atmosphere - but I wouldn't want the Kop to be moved because basically I can do without trying to watch football in an area where I have to be wary of opposing fans, fellow fans and stewards and the vagaries of the relationships between any one of them and the two others.
