Yes they are, but plants are harder to keep than fish.

Cheers for the tip melts, Maidenhead have a better selection than A5.

If you get time we go here ,they do a good range of tropical and marine fish ,plus tanks ,plants,FILTERS,PUMPS and so on.

Have you tired deep blue down near the tin hat? I usually use maidenhead, the south african guy knows his stuff and is really helpful.

A good book is the best place to start.

Lighting, substrate, nitrogen, CO2 and a proper feed are all major considerations.

If you are running an air pump, you are already fighting an uphill battle.

The Fluval tanks usually come complete with a Tronic heater.

Mr Platy in the aquarium would surely benefit from it.

My ornamental fish keep falling off the mantlepiece. Am i using the wrong glue Melts.

Believe it or not, I have performed several operations on Koi with damaged faces using SuperGlue.

It leaves a nigh on invisible seal and is much less invasive and problematic than stitches. Not to mention quicker!!!! it's not very pleasant when you have a scalpel in your hand and a 30" Koi starts flapping as it comes round from the anaesthetic.
