There is a big difference between the two in my experience. They are both good on their own, they are both good together. A lot depends on your partner and is far too complex to answer in type.

Getting back on topic. can we define homophobic?

Do you qualify as homophobic when you believe its wrong?

or do you become homophobic when you try to enforce your belief, or judge someone for being gay. And won't accept them for what they are?

If the first, i think you would have to define all 'straight' men as homophobic.

If the second, then, with no offence to anyone, i think people are more homophobic if they feel the need to have an explaination for why people are gay? (i accept that the evidences sighted in this thread by darth are for pupose of discussion, and not necessarily for this purpose)

If its the first, then i am homphobic. But i say let people live their own lives, whether its by choice or nature. who am i to judge?

It's not quite as simple as hating or liking the French you know.

There are some benders that people will like, and some that people won't. I can't hate a person because of their sexuality........unless they're French of course then I'll accept any reason.

So I would say NO, but the benders I don't like are not because they're benders, they're just not likeable.

However, I hate Norton because he's a bender. But more the fact he is only successful because he's a bender than anything else

If I saw a homo in my house, I wouldn't jump on the settee and scream, I'd get a glass or cup along with a magazine and simply collect up the homo into said vessel, cover him with the magazine to avolid him escaping and damaging himself when he fell out, and then I'd release him somewhere safe.
