Re: Palace post match thread

I hope MM saw this match. It sounds typical of too many matches in the last 12 months - most of the team can't be bothered led by a manager who does not know how to make them bothered!

Hopefully MM will now know that RK is not going to be able to motivate a team well enough, and make good strategic decisions during a match, to lead a promotion push.

I do not accept any of this crap about RK has had no money! He can't motivate the 20 players he has got. They are not easier to motivate simply because you paid more money for them. At the end of the day they are supposed to be professionals, they are supposed to play to their level of ability. They are expected to put in a performance. Too much mid-table poor attitude from the manager and most of the players.

Get rid of RK sooner rather than later. MM is quite happy, at least at Portsmouth, to give more than one manager a go!

If there is someone available now who can put a rocket up most of the player's arses get him in now and start planning for the team re-build.

Re: Palace post match thread

Honestly, they gave up, I don't think they fancied it today at all.... Go work that out?

Re: Palace post match thread

From the BBC

Leicester boss Rob Kelly:
"We're very disappointed because we had been on a decent run. There's still a lot to play for but we didn't play with enough energy or verve.

"We've always known which direction we wanted to go in but we didn't have a path to get there. But we have that now and the players want to be a part of what we have here.

"The new owner is a sensible football man. He's been supportive when I've asked him about players and he will back us. But we're in a limited market at the moment."

What is he on about?? Why doesn't he just say " I'm not able to get the players to consistently play to their potential, Goodbye".

Re: Palace post match thread

I know you cant win every game, well with a squad like ours we couldnt. But i finally agree with the majority, get rid of Kelly!! We are way too consistent, and by the sounds of RL, we played poor today, again.

In order to become a winning side we need to start from the top, get rid of the manager!! Also some of our players are utter toss, not good enough at this level nor good enough to call themselves professional footballers.

Re: Palace post match thread

im telling you, only the two centre backs deserve to stay next season. If anyone can name another player in this entire squad who deserves to stay i would be extremely interested to here it. with a huge justification of course.

Re: Palace post match thread

The season is over IMO,we won't go down.Let Kelly stay on until the end of the season, little point in changing Manager now there will be a much better choice for a New Manager in the Summer.

I agre, but we must start looking NOW, even if we have to pay out some compo to get the right man.

Re: Palace post match thread

Here a suggestion...Alan Shearer.Bet that goes down well:icon_lol:

He's a stronger character HF, not afraid to cross some barriers and he will attract the type of player we need. A high profile appointment is ideal for us, they will attract high profile players. A Keegan, Shearer, Jamie Redknapp would do this.

shearer wouldnt do it. i cant see him leaving his comfy high paid pundit possition.

As for jamie redknapp, i cant think of a worse appointment. thats a lie i can.

Re: Palace post match thread

I wouldn't support a club with Shearer in tenure. Kicking someone in the face then refusing to lead England if he was charged for it.......the man is nothing short of a scumbag. I hate him with a passion....
Shearer wherever you may be,
We all laughed when you ****ed your knee,
Bellamy was right,
Shearers was shite,
Won sweet **** all in your black and white.
