Were you at yesterdays game? He has two good feet can turn on a sixpence. 2nd half back to goal turned in an instance shot their keeper made a brilliant save and turned it over the bar. First half marvellous 25yard crossfield pass that found a City Player. Offers something different he will be an asset this season.

Hang on a minute, did I imply he wouldn't be an asset and had nothing to offer us at any point?! Yes, I was at yesterday's game and IMO Gallagher had a pretty good game, I just said that I thought he would be more comfortable playing on the wing than as an out and out striker.

Pretty much the best shot he had was after he'd cut inside from the left wing and all of his passes pretty much came from the wings as well, all I was saying is that a striker should be on the receiving end of the passes and sticking them in the net. I think he'd be fantastic on the wings, and much better than anything we've already got, but I don't think he's all that useful as a striker - Fryatt may as well have been playing up front on his own.
