Is there any point in replacing him. We are down. I think the disruption may be more harm than it is worth in the long run. Take the money and run from the Premier league.

Definitely an argument to be made for that. But we might genuinely go down with less than 20 points at this rate. Heads will have to roll.

Going to be very hard for him now.

Only saving grace might be that the recruitment effort left him short handed.

This squad is nowhere near good enough.

This is going to sound far more aggressive than I mean it to be so, sorry in advance but, do you really believe this? Pearson was quoted, several times, saying that he didn't want too big a squad, etc.

I STILL don't think Nigel Pearson will go: I think that he must know some unpleasant secrets about our owners - they'll never sack him and Pearson is not the type to fall on his sword.

.

No, I don't really. I think largely he has the squad he wants.

That a left back and a central defender weren't signed is turning out to be borderline neglect.

In every game we have played we have given the opponents a chance to score. In the Championship they often don't take them, in the Prem they usually do. Every game we give away an easy chance.

Not good enough.

Yes - this is well known. Premier League sides punish errors.

Pearson isn't good enough to manage in the Premier League. The most important quality required is good judgement on players. He got this season massively wrong in terms of the squad's capacity.

However, we are going down and he is a proven success in the Championship.......so its a puzzle not know what the club should do.
