Where are Mad Biker and Bob hazell when you want to be put out of your misery? Come on guys, a PM will do!

Sorry but what the **** is he supposed to back him with?? We are skint!

Skint we might be,but on the other hand next season is the only real chance we have of going up.

If Mandaric could have dipped in his pocket and gambled 6 or 7 million pounds then we woud have areal chance of getting up.

If we fail we Sell Hobbs and King and cover our arse, least we would have tried.

But he is dipping his hand in his pocket every year for about that amount just to keep us going!! Get real!

That's the way MM works though, and the only way he'll get the money back is by getting promoted to the Premier League.
Maybe he doesn't have enough money any more. Maybe he'd rather spend it on expensive lawyers to fight his tax evasion case.

are you ****ing kidding? what make you think he had another 7m to put in?

He has speculated once, why not once more?

I know what your saying, but how far are Leicester from mounting a serious challenge to getting out of this league ,3 players,4?

I guess 4 a right back a midfielder,a winger and a striker.

Its a no brainer,if we gamble and fail so be it,we have the players to sell if it goes tits up.

We really are not that far from assembling a side to get us out of this league, its got to be worth the try whats the alternatives...we are losing money big time..its our only chance before the parachute money kicks in.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but surely we have to accept their approach to talk to Pearson?
MK Dons rejected our approach for Ince a few years back, so surely we could do this?

What is Pearon's current contract situation? Is it true he signed a two year deal in June 2008 with an OPTION for a third year? If that is true, then effectively he's out of contract and can speak to whoever he likes.

Technically true but very rarely leads to a happy ending. We have done it before too when we turned down approaches for MON, and boy did it annoy him.

It sounds like he's already been given permission, we've just not heard about it until now.

He's on a 3yr contract, but there are clauses in it, which presumably mean he can speak to other clubs if £XX compo is paid etc.

At this moment in time, any manager with a shred of common sense will understand that ALL clubs have to start living within their means and cut their cloth accordingly. I was under the impression that Nige was a sensible chap who understood this.

If he'd rather go to a smaller club in massive financial difficulties just because their chairman has promised to magic some cash out of thin air so he has a bigger transfer budget, then he's gone way down in my estimation.

If that's what you're doing Nige, then BOOO! You're part of the problem, not part of the solution. You can go, as far as I'm concerned.

I just hope that isn't the case.

Why? Any manager wants to be a success. Hull have a squad that has done and if more money is offered to bring in players there is more chance of success there.

I can't understand anyone who holds grudges against him for leaving.

I would be gutted if he left, but he gave me the two most exciting seasons I can remember as a City fan, for that I will always think of him in high regard and hope he does well for the rest of his career.

Have you not noticed the fact that football is bankrupt and apparently intent on eating itself?

Anybody within the game that doesn't understand or appreciate this is either very stupid - which I don't believe Nige to be - or very selfish IMO.

Leicester City has been around for more than 125 years but will take carefull financial management just to make it through the next few. Hull are in an even worse situation by all accounts. Any manager willing or indeed advocating the out-of-control and unsustainable spending by clubs, simply to further their own career, is an enemy of football as far as I'm concerned.
