It's the players who don't quite live up to what I think they should be for me, especially when they don't seem to be able to learn from previous mistakes. So I never had my head done in by the obviously useless donkeys we had like Ade Akinbiyi, Lee Marshall, or Trevor Benjamin, bless their collective cotton socks. It's more Gareth Williams, and Simon Morgan for me - although the managers who persisted in picking players in that first category got right on my wick.
Ade was shit but i always felt for him.
The biggest problem Ade had was he did so much well (getting into position, shrugging defenders off) that his inability to kick a ball into the net was really obvious. If he failed to make space or create opportunities like many other duds we've had in recent and the old days he could have used the excuse of getting used to the pace of the league or such bollocks.
