I was only asking if the Ricky Gervais show is the one you know of that you have to pay for, and at the same time getting in a cheeky advert for it!

Cracking find Steven, and despite what the others say above, I just clicked on subscribe and itunes did the rest, it s now on my ipod.

FFS its a first episode and he is still finding his feet, all credit to the bloke for starting an LCFC podcast in the first place, he is obviously one step ahead of all the other forums in setting this podcast up...... I am looking forward to the others he will be putting up every week..

Moving back to the original topic, I finally got round to listen to the first one today (downloaded it off itunes easily....). I enjoyed it but as Boc said not much "news" or original views for people on here. Will look forward to seeing where it will go during the season.

I say well done to Foxpodder (a) for having a go and (b) for coming on here to defend himself!

A bit of feedback, the sound quality wasn't very good. I'm not usually that bothered about it but as I had to have the volume on so loud to listen to the podcast the next song that came on my ipod nearly bust my ear drums

A suggestion - email contributions will be interesting as long as they aren't too much Thracian-type rubbish about bringing in Alan Sheehan. I'd prefer a humorous angle on the game like Baddiel/Skinner or Danny Baker?

no chance. There are a hundred different reasons why not, but perhaps the most important one is that it would be as funny as watching 100 episodes of Last of the Summer Wine :icon_eek:

sound quality isn't great, it reminded me of a low-rent version of Radio Leicester, without Andy from Long Eaton phoning in. :icon_bigg

It started off as really funny, but like a lot of comedy became stale & repetative after a while. Should have been stopped while it was still at the top.

My father was a great fan of the early ones, and literally died laughing at it - they did a feature length Xmas special in 83 about smuggling a cofin around or something. He laughed so much that he burst an aortic aneurism. Lovely way to go, we all agreed.

But let it be a warning to you MF - you're probably a bit too young for such an exit
