If Mandaric has fallen out with Pearson then I can only see it being over transfer dealings, maybe Milan not coughing up enough cash or something, apart from this Pearson appears to be the most laid back person ever and I can't imagine him being petty enough to fall out with Mandaric and leave the club months after we got promoted.

Papers can't lose. If they say Pearson will go - they will be right eventually. If they say he'll stay - they will be wrong eventually. So saying he'll go is a story.

Yesterday the Observer said there will be 2000 extra troops going to Afghanistan - The Indy said we were going to cut troop numbers. Both can't be right. The point is an Editor needs a story so one is dredged up ...by reporters who don't have to name their sources.

If Pearson does leave because of a bust up with Mandaric then I can see a lot of fans turning on Milan. I, for one, won't be very happy whatsoever.

Still can't see it as anything other than a rumour, it was mentioned before they went away and I can't see him going if the bust up was that big. Also can't see how the guy on Bentleys roof can know it has all kicked off, or how it would all kick off more to the point, with Pearson out of the country.

I thought when the Allen/Mandaric bust up happened that it was all bollocks and just paper talk. I was glad that turned out to be true and we got rid of the idiot but I sincerely hope it's not the case with Pearson.

It's difficult to imagine any manager & Mandaric working together for too long without a bust up.

Anyway, I will make a firm prediction: if Pearson does leave LCFC will appoint a new manager and the fans will fall in line behind the new set-up.

On the otherhand, this 'story' may well be just the usual summer silly talk when the soccer writers have to dig out something to write about every club in the absence of meaningful matches.
