The lack of a "big" signing is leading me to wonder whether Milan thinks that Pearson may not be here come the big kick off.

That's quite a leap of thought - and one for which I can see little logic. I think it has been made clear by the club's management at all levels that there will be no 'big' signing; prudence is the name of the game and I think that we should again expect to be topping up our squad with loan signings.

Indeed, the same people moaning about the lack of throwing money aound are the same moaning about Campbell. I think with the team we have will can be comfortably mid table, which, whilst I would love promotion, would make me happy.

If we were looking at an offer for Cox, presumably there was a stage when a seven figure transfer was at least being contemplated. Whilst I agree that a multi-million signing was always unlikely this austerity is not what seemed to be on the cards a few weeks ago.

I don't think we would be signing all of these players if Milan thought Pearson was going to leave.

Not true. Some of us don't care that we're not pissing away money we haven't got, whereas everyone with eyes and a working brain knows Campbell was a waste of money.

Anyone who has been around long enough to look at Milan's history over the last few years will be fully aware that he doesn't spend big money on transfer fees. Loan signings, free transfers and tribunal fees are his stock in trade.

Let's hear no more talk of big money signings please because they just ain't gonna happen.

There could be hope for Campbell yet, stranger things have happened.

He could get in someone we've heard of then on these free transfers, loan signings.

According to the People Nige could be on his way to Southampton after "Pearson, ... has fallen out with Foxes supremo Milan Mandaric.". :icon_conf
