I wouldn't mind seeing...
Michael Di Venuto - Has been nothing short of a legend for Derbyshire during his time there, a regular season for him is to average 50 and score 1200 runs. Is pretty much guarenteed to leave and would be relatively cheap as well.
Yasir Arafat - Has made a good impact at Sussex in his short time there, a canny seam bowler who has 40 wickets in 8 matches at 25 and is also averaging 40 with the bat! He will be surplus to requirements at Sussex as Rana will come back as the regular overseas seam bowler.
Chris Schofield - Been given a chance with Surrey recently. Is doing ok, averaging 37/38 with both bat and ball. I don't know how his bowling would fair away from the Oval but we could fall back on his batting if nothing else and I do like the idea of a legspin/SLA spin partnership with Henderson.
Richard Johnson - Already linked with us, we've offered him a contract but I hear he is still waiting incase Somerset decide to make a bid. Would be a good signing if he stays fit, he is the type of experienced fast bowler that we need to help the likes of Broad, Cummins and Liddle.
I also wouldn't mind seeing another batsman come in as I'm still not convinced about some of our top 5. I don't know who is available really, I wouldn't be totally against a Kolpak coming in. I read that an ex-Zimbabwean player, Mark Vermeulen, has been banned from the ECB for 10 years for violent conduct. A shame as he could have done a job.
