Heard this guys name mentioned..seems to have fallen off the face of the earth and i'm probably going to be slated just for mentioning him but what about David O'leary? Did a good job at Leeds, did OK at Villa, lets face it theyre no better now than when he was in charge and theyve spent a few bob more.
Seems to have a decent track record of bringing through youngsters aswell, kewell, smith, woodgate etc at leeds and agbonlahor, davis, ridgewell etc at Villa, lets face it we dont produce enough good young players, or if we do theyre not given a fair crack at it

Did all his good work as assistant to George Graham at Leeds. Has since proved himself to be inadequate at managing good players both there and at Villa. Lack of discipline in the squad and dressing room unrest seem to be his trademark.

Sounds like leicesters next manager to me ;)

This won't be a problem at Leicester OG - we haven't had any good players since Muzzy left (and he was totally knackered).

I think O'Leary would be better than we could hope for - but I'm reaching the point when I don't care who manages the club as long as MM sacks the utterly useless deadbeat Kelly. I realise that this is not sensible but sadly the momentum gained by MM taking over seems almost gone already.....and I begin to be doubtful if he can regain it.

He should have been ruthless and made it clear that kelly is only short term.... this would not have been unreasonable because almost everyone knows that Kelly is out of his depth and could have been promised some minor role which with any luck would have ensured his resignation at the end of the season.

Right here I go into the Lions ring as a newbe and suggest someone completly different...I really do like Keven keegan but feel that every time the going gets a bit tough he walks out...this club needs stability....right so hows this for a suggestion a younger manager with possible potential very good at disipline I,m sure of that..Tony Adams ex Arsneal..now with Harry at Portsmouth is he worth a shout....or being a newbe am I still a bit green behind the ears..lol..be gentle guys thanks..

Adams did a cracking job at Wycombe didn't he :icon_roll

He's a bit like Pearce, he's got all the ingredients to be a first class manager, but unfortunately in both cases the final result is a bit like a flat soufflé.

Or as a longshot, what about son of Harry. Jamie K has little or no relevant experience but talks the part well.

As far as i am concerned no one could be much worse than Kelly...and almost anyone would be better.

It was Newell last week Alex, pull youself together man!!

I'd take either to be fair (no HF, resist.....) This week i think Sanchez, he'd be better working under a 'Director of Footie' type after his N Ireland experience. At the same time he may realise he's taken N Ireland as far as he can for now and that club management is more tempting.

On the other hand I'm a fickle bonehead who needs a decent smack in the man tits.
