HOLIDAYS and other absences

A few people have PM'd to ask if advance fixtures can be put up so that people who are going on holiday can forecast them before they go. I've had a natter with Nottingham and we agree that it could be confusing to have two, three or even four active prediction threads - but at the same time, we don;t want anybody to miss a chance of forecasting on every week's fixtures. So:-

If you are going to be away on holiday or for any other reason, send a PM to Nottingham Fox with the dates that you are going to be away. He will then send you the relevant fixtures. When you have completed your forecasts, PM it back to him and then he can paste your predictions into the thread at the time that he opens up the appropriate thread.

Don't miss out on points just because you are going away!

With the new season fast approaching, it's time to start the Prediction League.

After BB's resignation, Bocadillo and Myself will be running it for this season.

The first league will run from games on weekend of August 11th 2007 - games on weekend of 27th October 2007

Please reply to this this thread ASAP (by close of play tomorrow) if you are going to be joining in, so the leagues can be made. The fixtures will be put on in a seperate thread on Wednesday morning, you will also find out what league you are in.

If you decide join after tomorrow, DO NOT PANIC ... you will still be able to join in the fun, it will just mean that you will be in a lower league :icon_bigg

We were going to leave the leagues until tomorrow to publish, but I expect you'd like to know who you are up against before going off for the weekend. Don;t forget that these 3 leagues are equal in status, having be sorted out in the order people applied. First went to X, second to Y, third to Z and then the fourth back to X and so on.
