Ha. Glad to see that happen to Sunderland.

Wigan need one of their miracle comebacks to stay up now though... FA Cup isn't going to help them though. Would be happy with Villa, Sunderland or Wigan being relegated though really. Would rather Newcastle stay up.

I'm actually hoping it's Newcastle that come down as I think the rest would be pretty well set-up to go straight back up. Newcastle would be in disarray though as the fans want Pardew out already so would be even worse if they went down but then they have the small problem of him have a near infinite, certainly in footballing terms, contract to pay up as well as players on decent money signed in January.

Saying that though, I think Reading and whoever else comes down will be there or there abouts and fingers crossed QPR do a Wolves but I guess we all thought the relegated teams were going to all be a threat this year so we'll just have to sit back and watch another nail biting season in the Championship!

8 year contract, but if he does get the sack, only 12 months to be paid up.

Sunderland's draw with Stoke keeps it tight at the bottom, especially if Wigan beat Swansea in their game in hand

Could be a great finish at the bottom. If Wigan win tonight, it's so close for 5 teams, and the last game of the season match between Wigan v Aston Villa could be a relegation play-off!

Hoping that Sunderland go down.

Really hoping for a Wigan win tonight. I want Villa or Sunderland to go

I'd actually quite like Villa to stay up. They got rid of a lot of high earners and have put their faith in some of their youngsters. It may not work, but at least they've been up front about what they're going to do. If they get relegated it will be all too easy for people to say that clubs can't do it this way and go back to the tried and tested way of signing players who are "experienced", but look where that got QPR. I've got more respect for what Villa have tried to do, than what QPR have done, even if they both end up going down. You never know, even our national team might start thinking about changing their approach.

I'd like to see more clubs be honest with their fans about how the club is being run and that way fans will hopefully have more realistic expectations. I appreciate this is unlikely to happen though.

Wigan every day of the week - they are a pissy third tier team who've been up there far, far too long.

Most seasons I would agree... But I'd love to see Villa relegated (especially if we go up).

As I said before though, Wigan, Sunderland or Villa would be fine by me really!

Wigan lose despite being ahead twice to allow the teams above to breath a slight sigh of relief.

Pretty gutted as it is the only thing keeping the premier league interesting atm and 4 teams on the same points would have made it a very tense last couple of weeks.
