Wow, football really is rubbish isn’t it. Have Brighton really ‘rested’ on fire Glenn Murray for an FA Cup Quarter-Final? For Leo? Sitting in 12th in the PL on 34 pts?

Dread to think what team we will put out tomorrow.

Hopefully we're arrogant enough to think we're safe.

Overall Man City have lit up a bang average Premier League season. The other big clubs have been poor, with the exception of Liverpool who can score but not defend. Spurs have punched well above their weight whilst Arsenal and Chelsea have been disappointing. As for the rest, Burnley have had an excellent season whilst I am surprised At the current bottom 3. Didn’t have any of them in trouble.

Do find it depressing it will be us, Wolves and possibly the Villa (fairly safe to assume that the annual Shaggers' melt down at the the sharp end routine is well under way) as the Midlands' contingent next season.

The Premier League is mostly centred on London, Manchester and Liverpool, though. I don't think the majority of their target audience view any of the rest of the teams as anything other than fillers (with the notable exception of the 15/16 season).

Pardew has gone from WBA after 4 months

Pardew gone:

Is the only surprise the fact that it took until now to do it?

What now for Pardew I wonder? Interesting opinion from Ian Wright on the BBC.

I've always considered Pardew a bit of a chancer in management roles. Not particularly intelligent or having any motivational presence behind the scenes. 2 FA Cup finals as a manager is more than most achieve in their managerial career though.
