It is. No one thought to test goal line technology when a goalkeeper is holding the ball. Unbelievable.

Who ever the VAR is failed in their duty then, Oliver will get abuse but nothing he could do with the information he had

Don't know who the VAR is but Oliver is reliant on GDS and then VAR in that situation, the GDs clearly malfunctioned but what was the VAR bloke doing? making a coffee?

VAR is supposed to be for these four things, and nothing else.
Mistaken identity.
Red cards.
Penalties.
Goals - checking for infringements after a goal has been awarded.

So they (officially) couldn't have done anything.

I'm going to search this out. I must admit I watched 7 minutes of it. The PL and FA now owe me that 7 minutes of my life back on top of everything else. Useless ****ers.
