What I don't like is very very rarely does VAR go against the referees decision and vice versa.
If VAR isn't going to overall the Ref then what's the point in VAR other than making someone's armpit hair offside.

I'm sure that it's been mentioned somewhere, but after last night's match Man Utd now have three PL games in the space of five days (or four games in eight days), with us in the middle. No way that they can put a full strength team out for all three games now. Will be interesting to see how they prioritise our game and the Liverpool game.

I like your thinking. I think long time rivalry would be on someone's list of motivations, hopefully OGS's. At the very least, to not lose to Liverpool.

They need 4 points from 5 games for CL football. Be really interesting to see the lineup for Sunday as there is no way they will want to drop points against Liverpool.

Jeez, in fairness, I wouldn't want to be OGS (well, I would, for the money, but you know what I mean) That's tough choices needed, I don't know how you'd balance it, prioritise it. No sympathies mind, not like I give a shit about ManU, particularly not right now, but nonetheless. Who do you rest and when? Aim for full strength against Liverpool? Get the points in the bag v Villa? And what of maybe influencing those CL spots? Nah, I don't envy him that balancing act.
